A wide variety of embroidery thread (from my mother's stash!) was used in this colorful cross stitch pattern called "Stepping Stones" from the Jack Dempsey Needle Art collection of patterns. The green fabric with small white abstract butterflies is used as the sashing and backing. The quilt is 100% cotton and is muslin lined.
