Like a collage of decorative windows, the quilt has a variety of "pane" sizes with a consistent white frame around each. The large floral cotton fabrics highlight the colors in the other small floral fabrics used. The backing is the same white-on-white floral used in the top of the quilt. The quilt is batting lined.
