Simple Five Inch Squares I Handmade Quilt

Simple, but striking, red and white fabrics of 5" square blocks are alternated in a pattern of the red fabrics radiating from the center of the quilt.  Each "square" pattern of a red fabric blocks is followed by a larger "square" pattern of a different red fabric.  The red fabrics include polka dots, zig zags, stripes, a floral and solid red.  If you look closely, you'll see that the "white-on-white" fabrics have large polka dots, zig zag, and stripe designs.  This 66" x 67" makes a great cover for a couch or bed.  The batting lined quilt is backed with the white-on-white stripe fabric also used in the quilt top.  Perfect for someone who loves red.  You might also like two other red and white quilts on the site--Snowflakes Galore and Puzzle Pieces.
