A typical jigsaw puzzle piece shape is used for this design. A variety of black and white fabrics are used. The "pieces" interlock to result in a unique pattern. The backing is made with a white-on-white "cross hatch" design. The generous size of the quilt makes it a great cover on a bed. The batting-lined quilt is 100% cotton and is machine washable.
